After taking two years off following the disastrous launch of WWE 2K20, the series looks set for a return to winning ways with WWE 2K22 on March 11.
Featuring WWE star Rey Mysterio on the cover, WWE 2K22 certainly looks to have benefitted from time off and from listening to fan feedback.
WWE 2K22 will be packed with content fans have been yearning for, including the MyGM Mode, which will allow players to run the show, including “drafting a roster of the WWE’s greatest stars, deciding who will clash in rivalry matches and fight for glory in a championship showdown”.
The game will also feature the MyFaction mode, in which players can “collect and manage a dream faction of Superstars and compete in weekly events”.
“Packed with thrilling challenges and immense replay value, MyFaction delivers a hard-hitting adventure and consistent updates to keep things feeling fresh,” publisher 2K Sports revealed.
WWE 2K22 promises to also include a robust creation suite and universe mode, but one of the most striking aspects is the game’s updated visuals, which appear to be a significant jump from the last game.
